The Minister for Finance presented the 2017 Mid-Year Budget and Fiscal Policy Review to Parliament on 31st July 2017. Prior to the presentation by the Minister, IFS issued an assessment of the performance of the economy and indicated its expectations of the Review (Fiscal Alert No 6). In this paper (Fiscal Alert No 7), the IFS presents its assessment of the Mid-Year Review presented.
